Fireflies — A New Cyborg Game

Fireflies Cyborg Game — Now Available — For Immediate Press Release

The Original Cyborg Body Movement Game — Totally Free and Fun for Americans!

Fireflies

Number of Players: 1 to Millions

Object of Game:

Make and analyze records of your body movements with your iPhone. With the Luna Navigator, you can now Record and Save your body motion through space and time with Luna Logs. Luna Logs can be analyzed for your speed through a course, timing of hand and body motion, and more!

To Play:

Simply launch the Luna Navigator on your iPhone and press Record — on location or remotely during the event you wish to participate in. Perhaps a sailboat race or downhill ski race between friends, choreography and dancing, a competitive game of capture the flag, or participating in a world-wide Firefly Concert hosted by Global Tactile. Place your iPhone(s) in the hand(s), body-part(s), implement(s), machine(s), toy(s), or vehicle(s)/vessel console(s) you wish to track or control, launch Luna, and press Record. Luna Logs are universally coded to within 1 millisecond accuracy, so you can track yourself, vehicles, vessels, and/or accessories that you can buy or make — for free fun and games with friends — or choreograph and track people or machines with any of our Professional License(s).

For playing virtual music and choreography, use Luna Navigator in either hand — with up to 23 degrees of freedom being recorded 10 times per second! Optionally, you can introduce nearby magnetic objects like a pair of small steel rods for virtual magnetic tracking and recording! Add more iPhones, like one onto your torso, and a collection on hands, feet, and even tools for more accurate pointing — to create your symphony of movement and expression. Add an optional Neo Controller with Global Tactile’s Patent-Pending Tactile Reticle Technology — for the ultimate force-feedback wayfinding and control, or try a Neo Helmsman for remotely controlling boats and other steerable machines.

Escape Into Reality.

Borg Up Yourself.

Be Super, Human.

For competitive individual sports, we place the iPhone on a chest harness, like the one available in our Tactical Navigator Kit or Scout Master Kit. For boat and vehicle racing, we place the iPhone securely on the console(s) of our vehicle(s)/vessel(s). We like to fix our iPhone’s to the small of our backs for choreographed and free-lance dancing body-movements and routines.

Like your own performance or want to watch your own performance with your partner or team? You can easily analyze your own Luna logs, or you can share your Luna logs with Global Tactile, where we digitally recreate and render the entire scene of your movements with the rest of the players’ movements — virtually, worldwide. Plus it’s Totally Free for personal use in America!

Welcome to a Worldwide Game of Movement and Social Creativity — from competitive sports and racing, to music, social networking, and more, like finding your soulmate during our Worldwide Firefly Concerts — coming soon!

Personal Use is Free for American Individuals!

Professional use requires annually-renewable Professional Licensing.

Imagine after years of playing and mastering Fireflies and then sharing your favorite Firefly Memories, Moments, and Recreations with friends and more!

Blind Navigation Integration

Neo-Luna Navigation & Game Metasystem

From Ancient to Modern Cybernetics

Here I give a brief definition of Cybernetics, with a modern “Twist”:

A Modern Cybernetics Use-Case: Search and Rescue

Here, I conduct a simulated emergency Search and Rescue mission using an optimal fractal search algorithm.

A Cybernetic Canoe

This is our first water-vessel featuring direct steering controlled by the Neo-Luna Navigation & Game Metasystem:

Blindfolded Giant Slalom Ski Racing

On February 18, 2024, Vice-President Theresa and I made history.

Using distributed cognition in constant communication, I was able to blindfolded ski through an invisible downhill giant slalom course with static (jumps) and dynamic (skiers) obstacles. The course was set with the Luna Navigator, and skied using our patent-pending Neo-Luna Navigation & Game Metasystem, as a demonstration for tactical distributed cognition.

Here are two of our numerous races—every run was successful.

We are looking forward to competing next winter. Any challengers?

Cyborg Golfing Hartland Businesses

Yesterday, Vice-President Theresa and I developed the Cyborg Golfing Game for Businesses. Here is my first round of play & scorecard (the images count as the scorecard).

Summary of scores: I skipped the first hole, so that’s a Bogey (0 points). Then I Eagled at Birch & Banyan and the US Post Office for 3 points each. The remaining 7 holes were Birdies for 2 points each.

Total Score: 20 Points For The First Cyborg Golf Game Ever Played.

History of App reviewer rejections — with developer responses

A. Guideline 2.1 – Information Needed

we need access to a video that demonstrates the current version of your app in use on a physical iOS device, which shows the initial pairing process and entire app workflow with the designated hardware.

provide a link to a demo video in the App Review Information section of App Store Connect, then reply to this message. The demo video must include the entire app workflow, beginning with pairing the iOS device to the hardware.

Vid. 1 — Initial pairing process

B. Guideline 4.3 – Design

This app duplicates the content and functionality of other apps on the App Store, which is considered a form of spam.

Specifically, this app is available in the same locations as another identical app you submitted to the App Store.

-App reviewer

No, this app does not duplicate the content and functionality of Global Tactile’s, or ANY other apps on the App Store.

If you are specifically referring to the Luna Navigator by Global Tactile, then here is a list of similarities — AND MAJOR DIFFERENCES — in computational algorithm, form, and function:

First, let’s compare the user interfaces featuring completely different instrument clusters:

Fig. 1 Luna Navigator

Fig. 2 Neo Compass

Tab. 1 — Luna & Neo Features

Table 1 hi-lights the similarities and major differences between the Luna Navigator and Neo Compass:

The Neo Compass and Luna Navigator compare and contrast similar to Apple’s very own “Compass” and “Maps” Apps.

The Neo Compass serves blind people the same way Apple’s “Compass” App serves sighted people. It provides a robust visual-tactile COMPASS experience for blind orientation, and tactical orienteering. You can choose a bearing, based on an estimate of True North, and follow it. That is the necessary and sufficient definition of a compass.

Conversely, the Luna Navigator serves blind people the same way Apple’s “Maps” App serves sighted people. Luna allows users to LOAD MAPS and FOLLOW COURSES, thereby providing a robust visual-tactile NAVIGATION experience for blind and tactical navigation. Luna computes Geodesic routes based on location and orientation estimates.

There is no way to use the Luna Navigator as a tactile Compass, and there is no way to use the Neo Compass as a tactile Navigator. In fact, it is impossible to use either App in exchange for the other, because they compute different courses. These two products could not be more different in their functionality.

We would be more than happy to further help the reviewers understand the differences in functionality between a COMPASS and a NAVIGATOR.

C. Guideline 4.3 – Design

We noticed that your app icon is identical to the icons of other apps already submitted to the App Store.

Apps that use the same icon make it difficult for users to find apps and are considered a form of spam.

-App reviewer

Here is our NEW icon set for the Luna Navigator (all releases), Neo Compass (1.2+), and Vernier App (1.1+):

Fig. 3 — Luna Icon
Fig. 4. — Neo Icon (release 1.2+)
Fig. 5 — Vernier Icon (release 1.1+)

First, the Luna Navigator icon features a black background with a green stylized “G” on the left, pointing to a magenta Moravian star on the right.

Second, the Neo Compass icon features a black background with a green stylized “G” on the right, rotated upside-down, pointing to a magenta Moravian star on the left.

Third, the Vernier App (version 1.1+) icon features a green stylized “G” on the bottom, rotated 90 degrees, pointing to a magenta Moravian star above.

Although these icons correlate statistically, they in fact appear strikingly different to the visual system of a regular or visually-impaired user. The bright green curve sweeping along one side of the space, in contrast with the bright magenta sprite on the opposing side serves two functions simultaneously: 1) orientation matters and allows the low-vision and regular user to find the correct icon using the aforementioned cues; and 2) it unifies our product line.

D. Closing statement

Thank you for your continued consideration. We hope we have provided sufficient information, and we would be happy to elaborate and clarify as necessary and requested.

If you have any further questions, as always please feel free to contact me at anytime.

Thank you
